Using ONLY a 3x5 index card, ITEM DESCRPTION each item in
the middle section of the card, with the card positioned
horizontally.  Write the
GENDER/SIZE of the garment, if
applicable, in the top-right corner of the card.  If you know you
do
NOT want an unsold item back at pick-ups, place a “D” for
DONATE in the upper left-hand corner under your
CONSIGNOR CODE.  In the bottom right-hand corner, PRICE
the item for sale.  If you would like for the item to sell for half-
price on Saturday,then label in
RED.
On garments, attach tag with a safety pin near the upper right
side of garment.  All garments should be hung with the hanger
making a "?" to the left. Please use safety pins to hang pants-do
not use clothes pins or fold them over the hanger.

Ziploc bags should be used for shoes, books and other
miscellaneous items. Place card on the inside of Ziploc bags. If
shoes will not fit in a Ziploc, zipties work great to keep shoes
together! Zip-tie or pin card securely to shoes.  Cards will be
removed at check-out!
  • Toys, books, videos and small items can be placed in Ziploc
    bags. The bag’s contents should be thoroughly described on the
    card.
  • On large items, simply tape the tag to the item for easy viewing
    and removal. If the item includes extra parts, please make note
    of them in the item’s description.  
    IMPORTANT: Place masking tape with your PARTICIPANT
   CODE and PRICE on the bottom or underneath side of each large
   item and each shoe
ALONG WITH the 3x5 index card.  This
   helps identify your item in case the card is lost,  
PLEASE DO
   NOT
put duplicate 3x5 index cards on an item.
  • MAKE SURE ALL TAGS ARE ATTACHED SECURELY!!!!
  • Minimum item price of $2.00.  Only $.50 increments ($2.00,
    $2.50).  Items that are priced other than $.50 increments will be
    sold at the nearest $.50 increment lower than the marked price.
    (Example: $3.75 will be sold for $3.50)
  • Competitively price your items.  PRICE TO SELL! What would
    you pay?  Normally 25-30% of retail is a good general figure to
    go by when pricing your items.  We’d rather give a bigger check
    than a lot of unsold items!!! (See Consigning 101 downloads for
    more information on PRICING)
  • MAKE SURE ALL TAGS ARE ATTACHED SECURELY!!!!
