The Sprout House Exchange Sale accepts children’s clothes and shoes, baby
accessories, toys/books/videos, equipment such as strollers/cribs/walkers/etc. and
just about anything else for babies and children.

Items must be in excellent condition with no signs of wear and no damage such as
tears, holes, missing zippers and stains. Only items applicable to the upcoming
season will be accepted (for example: swimsuits should only be brought to the
Spring Sale and Halloween costumes only to the Fall Sale). Dancewear is accepted at
all sales.

AS OF FEB. 2009--DUE TO THE CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY ACT, IT IS
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK PRODUCT RECALL LIST FOR ALL ITEMS
YOU WILL CONSIGN. PLEASE CHECK THIS LIST AND VERIFY ANY ITEM
YOU ARE CONSIGNING IS NOT LISTED. ALSO, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO
REFUSE ANY ITEM THAT WE MAY THINK MIGHT HAVE A HIGH LEAD
CONTENT-- SUCH AS PAINTED WOOD TOYS, ETC.

Remember, every item will be checked-in and inspected at drop-off for any
unacceptable items.
If any unacceptable items are discovered they will be sent home with the consignor.
Please do not be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. We will be
screening very closely as to maintain the high quality and standards of our sale. We
reserve the right to refuse ANY item that we feel may not sell. We want to be
known for having the BEST quality merchandise and to have confidence that you are
buying the best at The Sprout House Exchange!

Please see below for further explanation of acceptable/unacceptable items:

Clothing sizes newborn up to children’s size 6 (NEW 2009). Must be applicable

for the upcoming season. Sizes Small-XL only accepted if brand and style
are for children!

Children’s shoes only-no adult styled shoes please!
Halloween costumes accepted at all FALL sales.
Swimwear accepted at all SPRING sales.
Dancewear accepted at ANY sale.
We will no longer accept underwear, socks or tights. We will also no

longer accept onsies or other clothing in Ziploc bags
(All onsies, etc. must be on hangers).

Shoes in good condition will be accepted (limit 5 per participant). Please

make sure all shoes are in Ziploc bags.

Nursing/Feeding supplies, diaper bags, blankets, etc.
Nursery Needs, diaper pails, wipe warmers, potty chairs, bath seats and

tubs, guardrails, etc.

Hats/gloves, hairbows, belts, etc.

Picture frames, mobiles, rugs, lamps and more. MUST be infant/child

oriented!

Comforters, blankets, sheets, pillows. etc.
Crib sets and Bassinet sets.

Must be in working order with ALL pieces.
Batteries MUST be included with toys when applicable.
Children’s books and videos must be in good condition-videos must be rated G and

PG only.

Books on childbirth, parenting and pregnancy will be accepted.
Please make sure the video inside is the same as cover outside!!!!
No stuffed animals, please!
ALL videos MUST be child/parenting oriented! (NO MOVIES FOR TEENS & ADULTS)

Strollers, walkers, high chairs, exersaucers, bikes, playground/outdoor play

equipment, etc.

Cribs, toddler beds, bassinets, mattresses, etc.
Equipment must be clean, or it will NOT be accepted!
Attach any accompanying small items securely.
Broken equipment is not acceptable
No car seats, please!
